Anonymous asked: if people fake a mental illness for attention, they have a problem too. try to see it like this. they don't do it without a reason... they want to be loved. and the need for at least a bit of attention is human. humans need love, every single fucking one of us. sure it's not a great way to do it but maybe they've tried so much but all wouldn't work... it's not even easy to fake a mental illness. you'd have to change your whole life to do that... just try to see it like this for once c:
I’m sorry, they don’t have a problem, they just want to be the centre of attention, wanting to be loved isn’t a mental illness. That’s human nature. And being the centre of attention by faking an illness isn’t for love, it’s so someone shows you sympathy so you feel better about yourself because you’re not getting attention someone who actually has an issue is. It’s not an illness faking it is not a problem, it’s people being too in love with themselves, they’re attention whores. I’m sorry but this is stupid. If you actually believe that faking a mental illness is an actual problem someone has, I feel sorry for you, though I guess you’re sort of right because the problem is that they are faking. No one should fake something no matter the reason, it’ll make things worse in the end, I get what you’re trying to say, but I’m sorry they don’t have a problem, they are doing it for attention, to impress someone and for sympathy. Not for love. That’s just stupid.
I’m sorry I’m annoyed, I’m finding it hard to deal with the fact that people are turning Mental Illness into a trend and making it something for attention. No. Stop. If I were to have a mental illness I wouldn’t be flaunting it for the world to see, I’d keep it to myself and possibly a few close friend. It’s an actual disease not something to try to impress someone or get sympathy for.
